"Composing two pets is really nothing more then breeding. You take two pets (preferably good breeds), let them breed, keep the baby and the parents run off
The only requirements are that the pets should be lvl 301+ and 100% loyalty
That sounds easy and it is easy. More difficult is to get a real good pet our off the composing. Here are the basics to accomplish that:
Use only good and high gr pets. That sounds like a waste (you lose two pets and gain only one) but it is really worth it.
Use only max. lvl pets. The gr of the pets will be at max and you will gain extra medals with composing and a gr bonus.
Use as main pet a first evolve pet at max lvl. Evolve the pet after you get the generation you wanted it to be. This will increase the gr of the final pet enormously.
Then you can also gain other gr bonusses. I will line them up for you:
Generation
gen 0 + gen 0 = gen 1
gen 0 + gen 1 = gen 2
gen 1 + gen 1 = gen 2
gen 2 + gen 0 = gen 3
gen 2 + gen 1 = gen 3
gen 2 + gen 2 = gen 3
For getting your gr bonus it is recommended you use only two pets of the same gen to compose.
Elements
Metal generates Water
Water generates Wood
Wood generates Fire
Fire generates Earth
Earth generates Metal
For example: Is your main pet a Fire type, you should compose it with Wood type to receive bonus. However, usually people only compose with Beasways, cause the high gr of them tops the bonus you would get when composing with the generating type.
But what you can do with the elements, is chosing the right map to compose. These are the elements of the maps:
Sky city is Metal element (compose your water pets here)
Western Desert and Hell are Fire element (compose your earth pets here)
Central Plain is Earth element (compose your metal pets here)
Nothern Plain and Ocean City are Water element (compose your wood pets here)
Southern Seashore is Wood element (compose your fire pets here)
Last but not least:
Composing a pet that can not be evolved.
The gr of a non-evolvable pet can only be improved by composing. That sounds like a waste, because it will never be as high as the gr of an evolvable pet, but non-evolvable pets are the natural enemies of the Super pets and therefor very handy in battle.
Max lvl of a gen 1 non-evolvable pet: 1300
Max lvl of a gen 2 non-evolvable pet: 1400
Max lvl of a gen 3 non-evolvable pet: 1500
This is the opposite of the max lvl of evolvable pets, which remains lvl 1200
How to calculate the gr of your pet and see how high the bonus is you received with composing is in the other thread "pet raising questions"
Good luck composing"
